Royal Kuhio is an urban highrise located 2 blocks from Waikiki Beach, and 9 miles from Honolulu Airport. From airport turn right onto Nimitz Hwy and travel 8 miles. Nimitz Hwy becomes Ala Moana Blvd. At the intersection turn right onto Kalakaua for one block. Kuhio Avenue veers left off Kalakaua. Royal Kuhio's main entrance is on Kuhio Avenue. Upon arriving, parking is permitted at the front entrance to Royal Kuhio on Kuhio Avenue for registration and unloading luggage. Parking instructions will be given at check-in. On-going construction on-site through early 2009. Construction hours Monday-Friday 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. U.S. national holidays are excluded. The swimming pool and barbeque area on the recreation deck will be closed intermittently to accommodate the needs of the construction project. Expect residual noise and dust.
