Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

Trading Places International is actively monitoring the situation regarding the spread of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), including related guidance provided by local government and public health officials, and are following any protocols issued by governmental authorities and agencies in the locations in which we do business. We encourage all members and guests to refer to the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), or their local health authority for more information about COVID-19.

The well-being of all our members, guests, and associates is of paramount importance.

In response to the rapidly evolving situation surrounding COVID-19, Trading Places is committed to assisting our members and guests experience flexibility during these challenging times.

For all Trading Places members and guests, we have implemented the following temporary cancellation policy adjustments.*

Note: If you have a reservation that was confirmed prior to March 12, 2020 with a check-in date after May 31, 2020, and the resort to which you are confirmed is anticipated to be closed on your check-in date, or COVID-19-related travel restrictions limit your ability to travel to or stay at the resort, please call 800-365-7617 for assistance.

TEMPORARY EXCHANGE CANCELLATION POLICY ADJUSTMENTS


=== If you cancel an exchange confirmation that was initially confirmed between March 12, 2020, and May 31, 2020, for an arrival date before December 31, 2020, you may request an exchange for an alternative destination and/or arrival date at the time of cancellation. ===

    • Do I have a booking window?  No. All accommodations found in Exchange Availability on Trading Place’s website at the time of cancellation will be eligible for confirmation.
    • Do I have an additional exchange fee?  No. Additional fees will only be charged if the newly-confirmed accommodations are larger in size and/or have a higher season than the originally confirmed reservation and deposit used to secure the exchange.
    • When do I need to complete travel? There is no restriction on your arrival date.

BONUS WEEK CANCELLATION POLICY ADJUSTMENTS

=== If you cancel a Bonus Week initially confirmed between March 12, 2020, and May 31, 2020, with an arrival date before December 31, 2020, you may request a Bonus Week for an alternative destination and/or arrival date at the time of cancellation. ===

  • Do I have a booking window?  No. All accommodations found in Bonus Week Availability on Trading Places’ website at the time of cancellation will be eligible for confirmation..
  • Do I pay an additional exchange fee? No. Additional fees will only be charged if the new accommodations are larger in size than the originally confirmed reservation and certificate used to secure it.
  • When do I need to complete travel?  There is no restriction on your arrival date.

HOT DEALS & WEEKLY RENTALS CANCELLATION POLICY ADJUSTMENTS

=== If you cancel a Hot Deal or Weekly Rental initially confirmed between March 12, 2020, and May 31, 2020, with an arrival date before December 31, 2020, and you cancel your reservation seven days or more in advance of arrival, you may apply the price of your cancelled reservation toward a newly booked Hot Deal or Weekly Rental at the time of cancellation. ===

    • Do I have a booking window?  No, all accommodations found in Weekly Rentals and Hot Deals Availability on Trading Places’ website at time of cancellation will be eligible for confirmation.
    • Do I pay an additional fee? You will pay the difference between the price of the newly booked Hot Deal or Weekly Rental and the price of the cancelled reservation.
    • When do I need to complete travel? There is no restriction on your arrival date.

*Due to continually changing conditions, these cancellation policy adjustments may be modified, as needed, from time to time.
